Update2: Follow this link for updated prices and availability on the latest Zephryus G14 models, or this one if you’re in the US and looking for the BestBuy offer, which seem to have some solid exclusive deals for the G14 series these days. Here’s our detailed review of the 2022 Zephyrus G14 series, as well as our comparison between the 2022, 2021, and 2020 Zephyrus G14 generations. Update: There’s a newer Zephryus G14 available in the meantime, the 2022 G14 GA402 update with 16:10 displays, a camera, more powerful hardware, and an updated thermal module with a vapor chamber.

But those updated specs do make the 2021 Zephyrus G14s more compelling options in their class and an evolution from the previous models, something this series required in order to remain competitive versus the other 14-inch performance laptops that have been released in the meantime, such as the Acer Triton 300 SE and especially the Razer Blade 14. Now, the 2021 G14 is mostly a hardware refresh of the popular design launched in 2020, with updated CPU, GPU, and screen options, as well as a slightly updated thermal module, but otherwise similar in every way to the previous generation. Furthermore, my thoughts and impressions gathered here are based on using each of these two G14 models for several weeks, and not just on a short-term experience. So here we are, more than 6 months after the 2021 G14 was released, with a detailed look at two different variants of the G14, an article that compares the popular CPU/GPU options, the two screen variants, and the two color schemes that Asus offer on this series.
